Let me introduce myself...

My name, as you should have guessed, is "Scooter"
... This is My Web.

In the very late 70's/early 80's- I bedan educating myself for the beginning of the computer fronteer.
It wasn't totaly the beginning, only the beginning of the "home computer" era; very unlike what we know today!
When I saw my first "Tandy" computer ( cost as much as a cheap car ), I had a feeling there would be a need for expertise in this new, upcoming area of technology.
Being artistic, I thought of all the possibilities of graphics and art in digital forms; duplication and the ability to color a basic pencil sketch. It could be an easier way to create an income! It was like programming your  TV set... You can create what you want to see!
Then I got hold of a "Commodore Plus 64" (1984) and you really did create things on your TV! You didn't need to buy an over priced TV screen known as a monitor. The price you paid for "digital" vs "analog". The price you paid for "Research & Development". There is always a price to pay...
Many of you will have no clue to what this was... but it was like a really smart (and dumb) Atari game console.
What was neat was, it didn't even take a week (I was working full time or it would have happened sooner)  to get inside the machine and totally wipe the programming! About 6 days and 55 minutes to learn and play with all its' abilities... and 5 minutes to destroy it!
This was very cool... and very heartbreaking too!
But this created my desire to learn more about computers, And to help others learn too.

More Tomorrow…
